We offer Class 4 and Class 7 MOTs and can test hybrid and electric cars as well as traditional petrol and diesel vehicles.
A Class 4 MOT is the standard, most common annual safety and emissions test for regular road vehicles in the UK, covering cars, small vans (up to 3,000kg), motorhomes, taxis, and dual-purpose vehicles with up to 8 passenger seats, checking critical parts like brakes, lights, tyres, steering, suspension, and exhaust to ensure roadworthiness.
A Class 7 MOT in the UK is a mandatory annual test for light commercial vehicles (LCVs) with a Design Gross Weight (DGW) between 3,000kg and 3,500kg.

When does my vehicle need an MOT?
You must get an MOT for your vehicle by either
1. The 3rd anniversary of its registration. Some vehicles e.g taxis, need this at the 1st anniversary.
2. The anniversary of its last MOT, if it’s over 3 years old.
When can I book an MOT?
You can book your vehicle in for its MOT 1 month – 1 day before its due date, e.g due 16 April you can book your test from the 17 March
If you MOT has expired you can still drive it to our MOT Centre provided you have made a pre-booking.
What if my vehicle fails?
We will call you to explain the reasons for failure and to make a quote to fix your vehicle. If you choose to have the vehicle repaired and re-tested within 14 days the MOT retest is free of charge.
